We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view was gorgeous, the home was clean and fresh, and everyone had their own space. The kitchen was well stocked along with the laundry room. We fought over the towel warmer and enjoyed all the activities in the game room. There was an epic dart tournament during our stay which ended up with all of us buying our own dart board. The private dock was perfect to park our boat and have easy access to it during our stay. The only hiccup we experienced was having to find a place to park our boat trailer during our stay. We appreciated the efforts of our host in solving the issue, but it still took some stress in finding a safe space that allowed overnight parking. Luckily we only had to worry about it for 1 night, thanks to our host and their assistance. I think having safe, permitting options listed would be helpful in the future. Everything else definitely overshadowed our parking issue to make it a perfect vacation to end the summer.

Our stay at Hayden Lake was wonderful. We enjoyed the home and thought it was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook meals for eight quite easily. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake and the large dock with kayaks and paddle boards. Our stay was enjoyed by everyone. I’m sure spiders are hard to control in the woods, but knocking down those huge spider webs on the deck would have made our stay even better.

My family and I had a fantastic time there. There was plenty of room for everybody and it was pet friendly. Lots to do in the area and the private dock in front of the home was much appreciated and everybody had a great time hanging out on it. The only drawback to the whole thing and it was not the fault of the property, was that there are quite a few stairs at a fairly steep driveway to navigate. I have bad knees and my wife has a hip replacement, which made it a little difficult at times but we made it through. Again, all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and are already planning on a trip back to Hayden next year.

If you’re looking for an amazing place to stay with your family and dog on Hayden Lake, this is the spot. It felt like home as soon as we stepped in. Clean, comfortable, accommodating for all ages. The private dock was so special for us as we love to swim. Close to the marina if you wanted to rent a boat and just a few minutes from town. The backyard is fenced completely, so no worries letting your dog out to go to the bathroom. Huge for us, making sure she was safe. Overall I would recommend this rental to any and all families vacationing in Northern Idaho.
The only challenge was the driveway, especially if the neighbor house has multiple vehicles there. We had to maneuver with several turns to get into the designated parking area and at one point could only back down the driveway while leaving because of the neighboring houses multiple vehicles. The only other item of note was the price, pretty expensive per night. Otherwise, great experience all the way around. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was great, and the home had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Five stars all around!

This property is exceptional in evety way! The location is fantastic as you can easily go into town to get supplies and it is only a few housescaway from the only restsurant/marina on Hayden Lake. If you want to go to downtown Coeur d'alene, it's merely a 15 minute drive.

Coopers Bay Escape provided the perfect vacation home for our out of state family during our visit for our nephew's wedding. This home turned out to be the "hub" for the extended family as we entertained and enjoyed the dock. We especially loved the well equipped kitchen and the water toys at the dock! They thought of everything from beach towels to a lovely fire pit on the deck over looking the lake. We loved that we could walk to the local restaurant down the street. We made unforgettable memories at the Coopers Bay Escape!

We came to Hayden as a family of eight for a weeks holiday, even our fur babies could join us! Cooper’s Bay escape was a wonderful place to stay. The cabin was nicely decorated, spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Enjoying meals out on the deck while overlooking the lake was relaxing. The dock was a great place to lounge, fish and swim! Having the red dock lights, which differ from everyone else’s blue lights made it easy to find after our late night boating trips. Thank you for sharing your place and allowing us to create family memories, Hayden Lake holds a very special place in our hearts!

Pros:Great location with amazing view . Waking up to a postcard view was surreal. Easy access to the lake to enjoy fishing , paddle boarding… We traveled with our dog so the fenced backyard and easy access for her potty needs was great . Cons: Lots of stairs , parking is a little uncomfortable. The house is clean but for some reason I kept finding hair from previous tennnats . Kids room where my son was sleeping pillow case had hair , my daughter was staying in the other bedroom and she complained about finding eyelashes on her pillow and in master bathroom there was hair stuck to the wall. Overall, the place was clean, except for the hair situation.So overall, we had positive experience and would stay again .

View, view, view!
Sit on the deck and watch the osprey catch fish. Enjoy the sunset, sunrise from a sparkling clean, well thought out beautifully renovated home.
The most well equipped kitchen of any rental I have ever stayed in.
Amazing view of the lake, fun to be had right down the steps at the deep water dock.
Kayak, paddle board, hike, walk, swim, rent a boat next door, pontoon, ski, surf. Town is a quick 5 minute ride if a dinner out is what you want.
A well fenced yard so absolutely no worry if you do bring a small four legged friend.
Super responsive and helpful management team.
I would absolutely recommend this rental and we look forward to going back next summer!

The house is fantastic and we had a great time!! Definitely 5 stars. The dock across the road was a bonus and we made great use of it! It was wonderful to sit on the balconies and look out onto the lake. And the fact that there was a little restaurant/snack shop just 5 minutes (walking) down the road was fabulous.
We were there for a wedding and there was no iron. I messaged the property company and within 2 hours we had a brand new iron and ironing board delivered! What great response and attention to our situation. Thank you!
The only thing to consider is there are a LOT of stairs associated with this property - we had one elderly person in our group who had trouble navigating them. However, once she did, she enjoyed the place. And the parking is challenging to get into and out of.

We loved, loved, loved Cooper's Bay Escape. This was our second summer visiting Hayden Lake and we could not have picked a better property!! The house was immaculate....literally everything was thought of and details were perfect. House has been renovated from top to bottom.....EVERYTHING is brand new and very nicely done. The view of the lake from the deck is unbeatable....spent every morning and evening there. The lake and dock are just across the street, but it' s not too busy of a street and crossing was never an issue. The dock was plenty big and is complete with chairs, a table, life jackets, paddle boards and kayaks. Our family has a boat nearby, which we kept at the dock the whole week....made lake life a dream!! The Hayden Lake Marina is only a few houses away so can easily walk there and rent a boat or have a food and drinks. FYI happy hour is 3-5 🙂 Overall, this property was a 10/10....would highly recommend to anyone wanting the perfect lake vacation.

The views from the decks were wonderful, thus the "bird's nest" description. We enjoyed our stay at Cooper's Bay and it appealed to all members of our large party. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and bathroom availability was never a problem. The cabin is nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and the weather could not have been any better. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had. The kitchen is spacious so 2 or 3 people can work together on meal prep. The barbecue worked very well as well as the fire pit for smores! We made lots of memories and enjoyed the property very much!

This property had been updated since the listing photos and was a nice surprise! The updates are modern, clean, and well done. A fun surprise awaits for you in the stone fireplace. The house is very spacious and was well stocked with a ton of bathroom towels (no beach towels). Be sure to bring cooking items like spices and oils as only salt and pepper was found in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need and plenty of plates, glasses, etc. The kids loved the bunkroom and games downstairs. 3 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, plenty of life vests, and a great dock with a table and chairs. This home was fantastic and we really appreciated a lot of the light switches being labeled so we could quickly figure things out. We would recommend this property to anyone and we have a high standard.

Our family stayed at Lake Hayden for over a week. The home was clean and the views out the front window were beautiful. We enjoyed the private dock even in October as the weather was still nice. Our teen kids liked the downstairs "game room" with the air hockey, darts, etc. We did bring many of our own kitchen supplies because we like to cook, and this home like most we stay at, had a mish mash of supplies. Mainly, we don't want to cook with Teflon and so we came prepared with our own knives, cookware, etc. Overall though, this home was comfortable, clean, and it was calming to look out at the water each day. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony around the gas fire pit. Be prepared for stairs, about 35 steps to reach the top/main level which was not a problem for us. You can walk across the road to enjoy the dock but if you want to hike/walk around, you would need to drive somewhere because the road along the home is too narrow to safely walk along.

Had a wonderful time with Family celebrating the end of summer Labor Day weekend. This is the 2nd year we have stayed here for the Holiday and cannot say enough GREAT things about this home as everything about it is fantastic. 🙂

We loved everything about this property! The furnishings and attention to detail was very pleasing.
The view was absolutely beautiful and we loved having access to the dock and use of paddle boards and kayaks.
If I had anything to criticize on it would be the inconvenience of steps entering the home and crossing a semi busy street with dogs and children to get to the water.
All in all I would stay again. Wonderful family gathering home.

We stayed with my 2 sisters and their families and we all enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room for all of us to not step on each other. The kids ages 4-12 loved the lower floor with all the entertainment! The house was adorably decorated and had plenty of amenities for us to enjoy. We would definitely rent again. .

We had no hot water at check-in but property management/owner is in CDL so they were Easy to contact and sent worker over right away-place was clean, comfy and enough bathrooms (2 full and 2 half) for families sharing the space (we had 3 adult kids, grandma and mom and Dad) need to know basis-house has stairs so all suitcases and groceries need to be carried up those outside stairs. We had 3 strong guys in group so no big deal, but may be issue for others to know

House and location are beautiful. Difficult communicating with rental company. The kayaks/wake boards were missing when we arrived on Friday and the propane for the grill was out. Notified the rental company by text and no response until Monday. Tried phoning the number provided and the office was closed until Monday. Issues were resolved Monday afternoon.

Honestly, I have rented many homes on air bnb and the pictures do NOT do this beautiful home justice. It was spotless and so comfortable. It was decorated perfectly and the view is just AMAZING. The bunk beds were perfect for our grandsons and the layout of the house was exactly what we needed with the 2nd family room downstairs. The air conditioning came in handy because we ran into a heat spell and we honestly were so impressed with the entire house. The grandkids enjoyed fishing off the dock and it was so convenient to rent the pontoon boat and ski boat at the marina which is 1 minute away from the house on the same street. WOW !!! Rent this house !!! I wish we could have stayed a few more days as our family really enjoyed it. It is well stocked and ready for the next family to enjoy. We want to thank the owners for allowing our family to share their home with us.
