We really enjoyed the house as a base of operations for a family vacation to Coeur d’Alene. Hiawatha trail, Silver Wood and lake days were our daytime fun; evenings were spent at the house watching the elk, deer and turkey families share the property.

The home and landscaping are beautiful. I wish I would of picked up on the fact that the basement beds were in the open. I was a little surprised when we asked for more tp we where referred to our rental agreement that stated that the paper products above what was there where our responsibility, 2 rolls of tp and 1 roll of paper towels was no where near enough for our group. Be mindful that quiet hours are not shortened on the weekends.,

We stayed at the house for a gathering of 18 family members. The great room was big enough for all of us and the bedrooms had lots of room for spreading out.

This was our second family Christmas holiday at this beautiful property, and it did not disappoint! Our group of 16 (4 families) absolutely loved everything about this lovely home. There was more than enough space for everyone to be together comfortably.
The kids and teenagers especially enjoyed the downstairs area, spending hours playing foosball and air hockey. The pool table on the main floor added another layer of fun for the whole group. The kitchen was incredibly well-appointed with everything we needed, and the barbecue and Traeger on the patio made grilling a breeze.
The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water for everyone—no small feat for a group our size! This home made our family time extra special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to gather and celebrate.
Thank you for helping us create such wonderful memories! We will absolutely stay here again.

We chose this property because of the size and number of people it would accommodate. We had our family reunion here with 20+ people. (some stayed at a nearby hotel) Plenty of room to spread out. Lots of outdoor space to play and run around. The water feature was beautiful, but it was very attractive to the little kids who wanted to throw rocks in it. (not allowed!) We had deer wander through the yard each day, plus turkeys. So fun! Highly recommend this property. Quiet and peaceful

It was a beautiful house with plenty of room for my family of 13, ages 3 to 22. There was plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. The property is secluded at the end of the road so there was no traffic to worry about with the small children. We all enjoyed the wildlife that passed by the house each day, deer and turkeys. The covered patio was a favorite place to hang out in the evenings on the sectional sofas. Would highly recommend this property.

We were very pleased with Elk Country Lodge. It gave our family enough space to feel like we could all be together or have some quiet place to just unwind. Everyone commented on how nice the home was and they wanted to do another trip there next year so, very pleased with the stay.

This was the absolute perfect place to gather my family for our daughter’s wedding. It was so spacious and clean. the grandkids had a blast in the basement playroom/bedroom. The other bedrooms were nice and comfortable. The kitchen was enormous and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Living area was absolutely gorgeous and homey. My favorite part was watching the wildlife from the gigantic windows. We could not have asked for a better stay. Thanks a bunch.

Cannot say enough good things about this beautiful home! We stayed for a week to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday and reunite with family and friends. The first day we were there we were greeted in the backyard by an entire herd of elk - WOW! Deer, wild turkeys and more elk were right in the backyard every morning making for some incredible moments! We enjoyed the par-3 course down the street (less than 5 mins away) and played golf at the CDA resort and public course - both fantastic courses! The house was plenty big for our group of 9 with tons of bathroom for everyone to have privacy. The downstairs was awesome for games, getting in a quick workout, and relaxing. We loved the massive kitchen and amenties. Can't recommend this place enough!

We were a family consisting of Grandparents, children, and grandchildren. This home was perfect for our family visit to Coeur d’Alene. It had the space and beds we needed. The kitchen area and large table on the patio provided a perfect place to eat meals together with plenty of seating area for all. Our grandchildren loved the large patio. It was a nice size, safe place to ride bikes and scooters every morning. We loved our stay. The only suggestion we have had since we were there during a warm week with lots of sun, is a roll down shade on the south end of the patio to provide some more shade during late afternoon and early evening. Thank you for being the perfect place for our family.

Had a great time w/ kids (2-17) & 8 adults. Plenty for kids to do and we set up pickle ball net in back patio. Used grill and smoker. Very nice appliances although did run out of ice(ice maker). Not unexpected w/ 16 in summer.

This place was a DREAM! I booked it and had everyone complimenting me all weekend on finding us such a gem!!! This is perfect for big groups! Not a single negative thing to say! On top of the amazing property, the service was A+!

Perfect for my large family to gather for our Dad’s 90th birthday. Plenty of room in the kitchen for all to help with meals, outdoor seating was comfortable and large enough to accommodate most everyone, beds were very comfortable. The home was decorated very nicely and was warm and welcoming. Loved the 2 guitars in the family room. We are a musical family so that was most appreciated. We could not have asked for more!

We got married in CDA, we all stayed here together for three days and it was absolutely perfect. So much space, everyone was very comfortable, very well stocked and we just loved it. Already planning a trip back in the warmer months with friends and kids. It was amazing!

This beautiful home was perfect for our large family to spend the Christmas holiday. This seven bedroom home had plenty of room for 10 adults, 7 children and our furry babies. The home was decorated for the holiday and was very comfortable for everyone. We really enjoyed the game room and pool table as well as the Traeger grill and barbecue. The outside seating area would be amazing in the summer and we plan to come back to this wonderful property in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The hosts were very responsive and checked in throughout our stay. It fit our group of 14 adults perfectly! Although the house is just a few minutes from town, it’s set up perfectly to where you won’t want to leave! We took advantage of the pool table, fire pit, and air hockey! Will definitely be coming back here when we visit CDA again!

Nothing bad to say about this property! We loved it the downstairs full of games was very nice specially with 4 kiddos they never wanted to leave and were entertained the whole time including the adults! the appliances were very high end nice quality. House was very clean and check out was a breeze! we all loved it and hope to come back again and stay longer!

Our stay was excellent. The house accommodated all 8 of the guests. We were able to hold our meetings in the living space. The weather was beautiful and we spent lots of time on the back deck watching the wildlife (elk, deer and turkeys were frequent visitors). The house was close to downtown Couer d’Alene and hiking trails. Would recommend this location for large gatherings. Bonus was property was dog friendly.

We really enjoyed the spot. It was nice having the privacy and space that we did. The house itself was excellent and the back yard was enjoyable too. A very nice place to relax after a day out and about! We were able to see whitetail numerous times. The turkeys came out multiple days during our 4 day stay. We even saw a cow elk on the first night.

This house is absolutely exquisite! Large home, large property, well decorated, incredibly well stocked with kitchen items, and a perfect spot for our recent family reunion. Additionally, the rental company is very responsive when answering questions or addressing the minor issues we had.
If you are looking for a place to call home and need a lot of room close to the best Coeur d’Alene has to offer, this is it!

Large home comfortably accommodated our family of 16. The outdoor seating area was great and a few played pool and watched movies on the large screen in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped and two large tables accommodated all 16 of us. We enjoyed watching the deer that frequently appeared in the lawn.

4 Generations of family stayed in this home for a nearby wedding. It is a great location for large gatherings of this kind. Please be aware of the firm limitation that only 20 people can be on the property at a time (even though it can easily accomodate more). We had hoped to invite friends over for an after-wedding dinner but were told that we couldn't do so due to the 20 person limit (even though they weren't going to stay with us).
The home has a kitchen with everything needed to feed a large gathering, great outdoor places to sit, comfortable beds, games (like pool, table hockey, etc) and more. We would definitely rent it again for a large gathering in Coeur d'Alene.
For a perfect stay, we would recommend that the owners add the following:
* Wardrobes in all bedrooms (many bedrooms had no closet and no place to hang clothes) with more hangers.
* Kleenex boxes
* Bath mats for all bathrooms
* An electric kettle or tea kettle to heat water for tea
* Citrus juicer
* Garlic press
* Large serving platter.
We stayed in many high-end vacation rentals worldwide. Other than the above, everything we could have wished for was available in this home.
