We loved our stay. We had beautiful weather and the accommodations were perfect.

This was our 20th concurrent summer, and our stay did not disappoint! Couldn’t ask for a better location, terrific hosts and communication, and we will be back!!!

My family stayed here for a week at the end of June. Please be aware there's no A/C in the house. We managed to keep it cool in the day by keeping the doors and curtains closed when we were gone and it was fine!
My kids had a great time in the upstairs sleeping portion and they loved running up and down the dock. The kitchen had all the amenities you would need, like salt and pepper and all the utensils. The property is quiet and gorgeous. Only complain was all the beds could have been a little more comfortable.
The water within the dock is the perfect safe spot for small kids to float around!

Absolutely LOVED the place!! Looked just like the pics and was so well done! So nice being right ON the water. Like the deck literally almost leans over the water so just a few steps down and you’re in! Water is so crystal clear and the weather was perfect! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversary! We will definitely be returning!

Perfect little cabin right on the water. Only a 35 minute drive to Coeur D'Alene. The pedal boat and wood fired oven absolutely made the stay so much fun. We would come back to stay again!!

Only wish there was more information in the binder as to where everything was. We discovered the secret closet on our last day where all the extra blankets, pillows, etc were.

Perfect place to get off the grid for a few days. Our kids loved everything! So relaxing would love to come back and check out the stone pizza oven. Thank you for sharing your place!

Loved this unique house right on the lake! The private dock and small beach area made it even better! The house does get a little warm and only has one small fan provided.

This is a very unique place! Although the weather did not cooperate we just live staying here and enjoying the beautiful lake views in this very cozy cabin!! We would love to come back in the summer. It was so quiet here we felt we had the whole lake to ourselves! My hubby actually had to do work so the little cabin on other side of dock was perfect for that. Loved our stay here!

Amazing getaway. Cozy little cabin that has all the northern Idaho feel. Great place to get away to for the weekend. We felt right at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We could not have been more impressed with the location, cleanliness, and space this beautiful loft had to offer! The company (CDA Vacation Rental Authority) was great at communicating with us before and during our stay, and the whole process was simple and smooth. We loved exploring all of the sweet little seating areas (some even with outdoor lighting for nighttime) and discovering which offered tbe best views. (Spoiler: it's all of them!) Some things to consider while planning your stay: As others have stated, the loft can get SUPER hot. We ended up moving down to the Murphy bed after the first night. If you are coming in the summertime and have a portable AC, bring it along. (They do offer fans) Another is to check for burn bans before buying an entire box of firewood. Learn from our ignorance. 🙂 Finally, we had folks come through the gate to mow the lawn and another to use the private boat launch. Both forgot to close the entrance gate when they left, so just keep an eye out if boaters or maintenance people come through, and be sure to close it after they leave. Overall, this was one of the best vacation experieces we've ever had and it was SO HARD to leave. We can't wait to come back next year!!

This is a great cabin - just as pictured. Although it says it's "1 bedroom, 3 beds, and 1 bath" ​- there is more to it than that. There is a murphy bed on the main floor of the cabin, a loft with 2 beds, and then a separate loft building with another 2 beds. We slept on the murphy bed which really could use a new mattress. Right when we pulled the bed down, there were two trough indentations where you lay. I'd suggest bringing your own pillows.
There is no AC, but there are a lot of fans including an attic fan which pulls the heat out of the cabin. (In the hot months, this would make the loft area unappealing to sleep both from heat and the noise of the attic fan.) There are also no windows that open. The front door has a screen door on it (which is beautiful) and then there is a slider door with a screen. So at night, you do have to be trusting in order to let a breeze in because neither screen door can be locked. Note - the switch for the attic fan is to the right of the fridge (it is quite loud).
Kitchen is decently appointed. Huge dishwasher. Ice maker in the fridge worked nicely. A fair amount of pots and pans, but not a lot of sheet pans or oven-safe dishes Salt and pepper were there, but no other basics.
The location. Loved that it is right on the water. The deck is amazing and the dock is in excellent condition! However, the cabin is 30 minutes from most amenities like a grocery store or restaurant. HIGHLY recommend you stop at the store prior to going to the cabin. There is a small grocery for essentials - called Hutton's - about 5 minutes from the cabin; however it is just for the basics. They also had flatbreads which looked tasty.
There is a paddleboat available; however it does have a leak - which they've tried to repair but that's not holding. The trunk on the dock has some floaties and life vests as well.
The biggest downfall of the cabin is the bathroom shower - which is extremely small. I'm 5'4" and it worked for me. But if my 6' barrel-chested son were to stay here, he'd struggle to move around in that shower. It's a nicely done bathroom with pebble floor and ceramic tile - just very small.
Overall I probably would not rent this particular unit again mostly due to the location as I like to eat out when I'm on vacation. But I would definitely try to rent from Vacation Rental Authority. They were great to work with when we had to shuffle some things around. And when I did a chat session just to mention the screen door was having some issues, they were out right away to get it repaired. (I was just letting them know for future reference.)

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the decks, dock and the lake. The sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The cabin is small but had everything we needed. The only downsides were no air conditioning which was fine while we were there and it is a bit of a drive to restaurants and shopping. We loved our time here. It was very relaxing and beautiful.

Great location in a cozy space with an amazing deck!

This place was a great stay with a group of 6. While the indoor space is small, it is very clean, and has what you need. However, the outdoor space is worth the space alone. Large decks in the front and on the side, outdoor grills, several outdoor tables, tons of seating, shade, a large lawn, and large dock (also with seating). It was easy to book, find, check in, and check out. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Wonderful place. It could not have been better.

This small cottage has a large outdoor space with a very nice deck, dock and grassy area. Inside we maximized space by closing (it folds into the wall) the kitchen table and murphy bed. We slept upstairs, but one can only stand to dress near the ladder. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to access and use. The cottage provides a 180 degree panoramic view of the lake, sunrises and sunset. It's got a million dollar views!

We had a quiet, peaceful stay in September. Cabin is beautiful and pictures are accurate. This is a small cabin that feels roomy because of the high ceiling. Two beds are in the loft with ladder access only. May not be suitable for little kids. It says it sleeps 6, but keep in mind that there is only one bathroom and the sink area is not closed off from the toilet/shower. There were only two of us staying, so it was a great amount of space. The kitchen had adequate supplies for cooking and cleanup. Local channels on the TV with good reception plus a DVD player. No WiFi. BBQ was good-sized with plenty of propane; deck area was fantastic and had nice plug-in lights for evening. There was a fire pit area on the grass. Plenty of firewood under the deck stairs. Bring your own paper to start the fire. We took the canoe out and there is a box on the dock with life jackets and oars. This cabin can be a bit tricky to find as there is no address posted outside. They give clear directions and if you look at it on Google Maps, you will have a good idea of how to get there. Our cel carrier is Verizon and we had good reception the whole time. Had to go out to the dock to post pictures on Facebook, though. Property management let us in earlier than the 4:00 check in, which was nice. Housekeeping showed up earlier than 11, just checking to see if we had left. She gave no pressure for us to leave and went down the road and parked. We passed her on the way out and let her know we were checked out. They do a nice job cleaning the place; even leave a brand new sponge for the kitchen sink. Key pad for the front door, so no keys to lose--nice! No garbage pickup here; they give you instructions as to where a community dumpster sight is located for trash. Housekeeping doesn't take it. Not a big deal, as you pass this dumpster sight on your way to Coeur d'Alene. This cabin is about 25-30 minutes from Coeur d'Alene. It is right on Hwy 97, and is winding and slow, but a beautiful drive along the lake. Lots of deer, so drive slowly. There is a neighborhood dock that the cabin shares a driveway/parking with. It was off-season, so we saw no one. It might be quite a bit busier during the summer. Loved this place and would stay again! Property management was easy to work with.
