Nice home conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood

Lovely home with everything you need for a lakeside vacation. The location on Mica bay is perfect and tranquil. The house, along with firepit on deck is comfortable and spacious.

We chose this property because of the size and number of people it would accommodate. We had our family reunion here with 20+ people. (some stayed at a nearby hotel) Plenty of room to spread out. Lots of outdoor space to play and run around. The water feature was beautiful, but it was very attractive to the little kids who wanted to throw rocks in it. (not allowed!) We had deer wander through the yard each day, plus turkeys. So fun! Highly recommend this property. Quiet and peaceful

The house is fantastic and we had a great time!! Definitely 5 stars. The dock across the road was a bonus and we made great use of it! It was wonderful to sit on the balconies and look out onto the lake. And the fact that there was a little restaurant/snack shop just 5 minutes (walking) down the road was fabulous.
We were there for a wedding and there was no iron. I messaged the property company and within 2 hours we had a brand new iron and ironing board delivered! What great response and attention to our situation. Thank you!
The only thing to consider is there are a LOT of stairs associated with this property – we had one elderly person in our group who had trouble navigating them. However, once she did, she enjoyed the place. And the parking is challenging to get into and out of.

Liberty Lodge was a beautiful place to stay for our family of 13. The bedrooms were great though a couple a the mattresses were too firm for some (we padded with extra quilts.). The beach is far down the hill, 94 stairs from the top level of the house. But that didn’t deter my family…they carried three additional Kayaks and 2 SUPs down to the water, no problem. Although there is no beach, the deck is large with plenty of space for everyone. Our family was on the water most of the time, paddling down the lake, and even went out for stargazing. Some of us went on walks and little hikes to the wetland. Plenty of waterfowl viewing, and many many birds. We enjoyed learning that the house two doors up is located where there was a speakeasy in the 1920s (look up Stonehouse Park in the Liberty Lake Splash archive). The kitchen is well equipped, though we brought our own blender. We loved having so many bathrooms. Very nice home.

Our second time back in the area. House was clean and well appointed, and the view is spectacular from the deck!

The cabin was clean and comfortable for a family of 8. Grandparents, children and grandchildren. The yard of the cabin was amazing – deer and turkeys, the gazebo – quiet and gave you a feeling of being secluded but close to CDA. We miss having morning coffee on the picnic table. We would definitely rent this cabin again. Thank you!

Great stay at this beautiful location!!! The house was a perfect size for our friends and family of 12. The upstairs and downstairs part of the house each had a kitchen and (3) bedrooms so we felt like our kids had their own space with adults upstairs. The location was very close to downtown CDL but private and away from the crowds. View was amazing and the house was very clean, free of clutter and very cozy with a fireplace both upstairs and downstairs. The only opportunity or call out is bring your own hair dryer – did not see one. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap if you have several people. Small travel size bottles were provided in each bathroom but it wasn’t enough for a party of 12.

Overall positive. Large home to accommodate our family and age range. Master suite is lovely, grandkids used the tub. Other bedrooms fine but odd that only one bathroom downstairs for 5 bedrooms. Set up worked for us but older kids would be an issue as rec. room downstairs with people sleeping. No glassware and refrigerator at bar area. The kitchen needs new fridge and oven. A separate ice machine to make up for the lack of one in refrigerator. The oven difficult to use and finally didn’t work. could use a standard microwave. Lines and towels nice. Down side was the inability to use the lake because of algae bloom. Had hoped could as least wade from dock on Fernan Lake. Weather not controlled by them. Convient to town and shopping. Nice parks in town but paid parking instead of walking down to lake. Nice well maintained yard and hot tub used. So overall worked well for us as we are adaptable and came away with good vibes.

The house had a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Deer were walking around the house in the morning and evenings. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. Very close to the restaurants and shops. We would stay there again!

We love this property; it’s ideal for a larger group needing 5 or 6 bedrooms One bed is behind a divider in the game room but the other 5 have their own bathroom plus there’s a powder bath off the living room. It’s so clean it’s like an uninhabited staged spec home. The amenities are first class, kitchen is totally equipped and pristine, house has clean, upscale furniture. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looks like new. The room over the garage is amazing with its own brand new looking kitchen and sitting room. Plasma tv’s everywhere. Very short bike to the lake and resort hotel/bar/restaurant. Overall a great location. We would definitely return.

Perfect location and wonderful home! We had a wonderful time. The story of the home was the best! We realized our Grandparents were great friends with the owner’s family and for sure attended cocktail parties there. Our Grandparents were Ed and Ellen Gallivan❤️

Phenomenal location and close to amenities! A quick 3 minute walk to Sander’s beach and a quick 5 minute drive to Sherman. Very responsive and friendly communicative owners.

This property is beautiful and the views of the lake of the 2 outdoor porch were outstanding. The bedrooms were large with big screen TV’s is 2 of the three major bedrooms with additional TV’s in the living rooms and downstairs family rooms. Only one on suite bathroom, though and only one additional bathroom with a shower. The third bathroom was a half bath on the main level. The 100 stairs to the beach area are a little challenging for older folks, but manageable. The use of the kayaks and paddle boards was great. Also, plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. The biggest issue for us was with 10 people, the refrigerator was way too small. Frequent, almost daily trips, to Safeway in CDA was required, which took away from time on the water or relaxing. We used coolers, but the ice melted quickly. The ice machine in the ridge was slow to make ice. Another refridge or freeze would have been beneficial. We had 6 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 kids at 12 and 10 yrs old. The bunk beds were great for the younger kids, but the teenagers had to move to the couches. In my opinion, this home can only sleep 8, not 10 and the price per night doesn’t support 10 people. Other than that, we had a great time.
