We loved the Harbour House! It’s a bit out of the way, but worth the pretty drive in. Drive slowly- there are a lot of deer! This house is on a small island on the Spokane River. The back yard faces the smaller, narrower side of the river and we found out (since we stayed in April) that that side practically dries up during the winter months when the river level is lower. It definitely didn’t look like the pictures on the website, so be forewarned that during the winter, the water won’t be there. Fortunately for us, we weren’t there to recreate and had planned for a week of rain. I had picked the house mostly because of the large spacious house that it was. Traveling with two teenagers in hotel rooms is not always fun. With this house, both kids got their own rooms and beds upstairs and my husband and I had a spacious master suite downstairs with a king-sized bed. Those king beds can be difficult to find in vacation rentals. The house was very clean and had decent amenities. Just know that there is no garage access; it is for the homeowner only. It was not an issue for us, but might be for some. Great patio area for the nicer weather, big gas BBQ grille. I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again.

This small cottage has a large outdoor space with a very nice deck, dock and grassy area. Inside we maximized space by closing (it folds into the wall) the kitchen table and murphy bed. We slept upstairs, but one can only stand to dress near the ladder. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to access and use. The cottage provides a 180 degree panoramic view of the lake, sunrises and sunset. It’s got a million dollar views!

Great sized bedrooms (2 upstairs + 2 bathrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms in the basement with a shared bathroom), comfortable beds, plenty of towels. Lovely furnishings. We cooked dinner one night and breakfast every morning with no issues. It’s walkable to downtown but I’m glad we had a car since it was rainy almost the entire time we were in town (we were also sad not to get to use the backyard space which looks lovely). Be sure to pack your toiletries – there is hand soap, but nothing else. The pool table was fun to have (for our rainy nights) but there is something off with the leveling, so don’t take the games too seriously! Wifi worked great and keypads are easier than keeping track of a key, so no complaints!
If you want a quiet environment away from the rush
If you want a quiet environment away from the rush of day to day life, this home is wonderful. There are lots of great spaces for family time, yet, lots of rooms if someone wants to cuddle with a book. The beach is a short walk from the home and during our 6 day stay we only encountered several people on the beach. They have a great sand beach for children with toys as well as a grassy beach for the sun bathers. The wrap around deck provided great space for family outdoor meals as well as a place for sipping coffee while watching the sunrise. Great home!
The Salmon Run condo on the Spokane River in Post
The Salmon Run condo on the Spokane River in Post Falls is the perfect location from which to explore Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding area. It is modern and extremely comfortable offering all the amenities you could want for a relaxing vacation. We used it for a golf holiday and its proximity to the finest courses in the area couldn’t have been better. Excellent spot.

This place is well beyond with it describes and what the Picture Show it’s Reslly well-thought-out and pleasant for several groups of adults or kids and adults it’s perfect for any combination.
We used it for very important business meetings and all of the parties that met and stayed there were productive and enjoyed themselves immensely.

Amazing Place
This place was a wonderful place! I don’t think I have a single complaint. It is so well kept and perfectly accommodated our family. The view is amazing and the sunsets were beautiful. There is an elevator going up to the fourth floor for those who were saying its a pain to climb the stairs. My family is very act I’ve so we generally took to the stairs. We had a total blast here. There is a boat, jet ski, kayak and paddle board rentals on the left down a ways by the blue roofs. We rented stuff from their and enjoyed going around on the river. There is also a really nice park right across the way that is very family friendly and perfect for what we wanted. All in all it was a beautiful place to stay and we will probably end up staying here again when we visit our family. Thanks so much!!!
I think the only suggestion I would have for someone
I think the only suggestion I would have for someone coming is to come in the daylight the first time you come. It’s a lovely area but it is difficult to find the house the first time. I arrived after Dark and had a dreadful time finding the house my GPS for some reason was not correct and if my son hadn’t already been there and stood outside and listen for my car horn as I honked madly I never would have found it. And just in case you think it has to do with my age and general infirmity my other son who arrived after me and my daughter who came later both had the same problem. South Madonna Loop is really hard to find unless you know what you’re looking for.

Lovely townhouse near the beautiful Coeur d’Alene Lake. We flew
Lovely townhouse near the beautiful Coeur d’Alene Lake. We flew in a float plane, had dinner on the Lake, rented a pontoon boat, shopped downtown, etc. This property is immaculate, the furnishings are very nice, and the beds a very comfortable. We hope to return next year. 😊
This condo was PERFECT for what my friends and I
This condo was PERFECT for what my friends and I were looking for! It had great spaces to spend time together at the table and in the living room, the whole space was clean and well lit, and the view was AMAZING. We had big plans to go out and about in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene but once we saw how nice the condo was, we had a hard time getting ourselves to do anything but sit and enjoy the view and comfortable space.
