The Beach cottage is a beautiful, newly remodeled cottage within walking distance to the lake and shops. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The backyard was charming with a covered patio and a wonderful additional seating area with gas fire pit. The home was clean and comfortable. We loved being able to walk to the downtown and lake. We would definitely book again.

Our group loved this home! Excellent views, gathering spaces, and amenities. We had a large group and spent most of our time on the top floor which was enough space and never felt crowded. Quick drive to downtown and excellent food and coffee near by. Kids had a blast and adults were able to relax. We would love to stay again!

Comfortable and Beautifully designed and furnished inside and out. Few blocks from the lake and 5 minutes from downtown. Such a treat . No television so bring a good book, games or your own screens.

Finding the condo at check in was a pain as there are 3 entrances and only one will get you up to the third floor in an area that allows you access to the condo. The outside door keypad sticks and you need to enter the number multiple times. Also, there are no luggage carts unless you get access to the under ground parking from another person who lives there or sneak in to the underground parking for the purpose of unloading or loading. Once in the condo there were no hangers or luggage racks or bbq tools. (All of which we bought and left for future visitors). Outside of the above things this was a great location, quiet and comfortable stay, which we would highly recommend. Numerous restaurants with in walking distance. Offering a once a week cleaning would be a nice touch.

Beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Perfect for our group of 8. Road noise from the interstate (miles away) was unfortunate.

We enjoyed this mid-town property in a quiet neighborhood. It was comfortable and convenient for what we needed. Would have liked to have had additional glassware and silverware, so as to avoid using the dishwasher so much; it could also definitely have used sufficient bath soap – we wound up buying our own. Using the TV was a bit confusing – would have been nice to have had specific instructions for it. At one point, both the property owner and property manager stopped by (at different times) and both were surprised to find us staying there – an apparent lack of communication with VRBO. In spite of these minor glitches, we would stay here again.

This was our first vacation in 6 years and this place did not disappoint. It was nice to come through the door and the house be clean, I used to travel a lot for work and I’ve immediately checked out of hotels that weren’t to my standards. Property managers were quick to respond to questions, people are friendly in the neighborhood and the view is great. I would definitely stay there again.

This home is clean, well stocked, close to everything, and very user friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, nice quiet neighborhood walking distance to downtown, shopping, great restaurants, Tubbs Point, and the Lake.
Very attentive hosts and responded quickly to issues, and requests. Went above and beyond.
Higher priced, but between size of house, location and house amenities definitely worth the extra money.
Outside area, table/chairs and BBQ a plus.
House a bit chilly for us, especially downstairs, and temperature regulated by company. We were there in fall, bet summer temperatures would be perfect.
Hint: Front door a bit tricky. Once unlocked pull the door knob towards you, and then turn the main lock.

The purpose of this rental was for 8 former high school classmates to get together to catch up on life. We are all in our late 60’s and have been meeting once a year, somewhere in the US, for the past 7 years, and this year we decided to come to CDA. The house was perfect for us – enough seating in the living room, enough seating and table space for us to eat together and we have never had such a well equipped kitchen. Anything we needed to cook with was there. The bedrooms and baths were clean and comfortable, so all in all, we could not have asked for more. Last but not least, the location could not have been better. Within walking distance of parks, waterfront, the resort and shopping. Thank you for allowing us to have a wonderful gathering spot this year.

This property is a few minutes drive to the dock, well stocked, great views, responsive management, and full of wildlife everywhere. we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful view and perfect for our girl’s weekend getaway. Beds were decent, house was super clean and just as described. The incredibly well stocked kitchen was perfect for making dinners in.

Amazing getaway. Cozy little cabin that has all the northern Idaho feel. Great place to get away to for the weekend. We felt right at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Great location, beautiful house. The main room is massive and the kitchen is very modern. Fenced yard is perfect for dogs. We loved it and hope to come back.

House is conveniently located near the lake and a short car trip away from most everything else. We spotted a few places that would be within walking distance. House is comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay.

Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood super close to the resort. We were there for a company retreat, so we had a couple rental cars, as we were arriving at different times/different states. Parking on the street in front of the house seems strict on ticketing, but there is space for about 2 cars behind the house – just FYI. Anyway, the house is beautiful, very clean, spacious and welcoming.

We could not have been more impressed with the location, cleanliness, and space this beautiful loft had to offer! The company (CDA Vacation Rental Authority) was great at communicating with us before and during our stay, and the whole process was simple and smooth. We loved exploring all of the sweet little seating areas (some even with outdoor lighting for nighttime) and discovering which offered tbe best views. (Spoiler: it’s all of them!) Some things to consider while planning your stay: As others have stated, the loft can get SUPER hot. We ended up moving down to the Murphy bed after the first night. If you are coming in the summertime and have a portable AC, bring it along. (They do offer fans) Another is to check for burn bans before buying an entire box of firewood. Learn from our ignorance. 🙂 Finally, we had folks come through the gate to mow the lawn and another to use the private boat launch. Both forgot to close the entrance gate when they left, so just keep an eye out if boaters or maintenance people come through, and be sure to close it after they leave. Overall, this was one of the best vacation experieces we’ve ever had and it was SO HARD to leave. We can’t wait to come back next year!!

The property was perfect for our family reunion. Lots of bedrooms and baths for everyone. The open concept kept everyone together. Loved the location! We were able to walk to the park, beach and downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location to tour and see the city. Great house. All the stuff you need to live in a place for several days –

House and location are beautiful. Difficult communicating with rental company. The kayaks/wake boards were missing when we arrived on Friday and the propane for the grill was out. Notified the rental company by text and no response until Monday. Tried phoning the number provided and the office was closed until Monday. Issues were resolved Monday afternoon.

Cute little cottage near town. Very clean and well stocked, it is perfect for families. Thank you!!
