Great location with a great view!

The home is gorgeous. This was my second stay and just as last time it didn’t disappoint. The view from the porch and hot tub are fantastic. It’s in a good location and within driving distance of at least three great mountains to ski. Our group had an excellent experience.

Very big! Tons of space

It was close to town and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Wish it had regular tv stations.

This property was as advertised and had everything you could ever want for seven guys on an annual ski trip. The amenities provided made for a phenomenal stay. We would recommend this property highly for large groups.

We had a group of 13 adults, 3 kids, and an infant. The house was very comfortable and had plenty to do – the pool table was used regularly, the hot tub was also used at least once a day, and we liked listening to music or watching videos on the TVs. We also used the grill for one of our meals (propane was provided). We appreciated having so many bedrooms, and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use, including showers. It looked clean and taken care of, cozy but still spacious enough to spread out when needed. Some minor downsides: we had to bring our own firewood, which we actually didn’t use (we only used the gas fireplace near the kitchen, which we liked, and didn’t get to using the outdoor fire pit for s’mores like we wanted); the downstairs was usually noticeably colder; there was limited fridge space (since we came during cold weather we were able to keep some things chilled by putting them in the garage or outside); and the property is on a steep slope, which didn’t seem comfortable, especially with kids and during warmer weather. Parking was also limited, but we were able to park along the street so it worked out. We enjoyed the lake – several people went ice fishing multiple times (we made fresh fish soup from the fish that was caught). The scenery and neighborhood were nice, and we made several trips to downtown Coeur d’Alene since it was so close. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would have liked to stay longer.

Great experience overall and we enjoyed our stay here. Wonderful views from inside and the just the right location for walks along the riverside & a stroll to the downtown area. The place has a cozy, retro look and feel. The backyard was a nice playground for the kids – we left a snowman behind. Amenities were great and the hosts were very responsive. It snowed heavily overnight and the driveway was cleared promptly in the morning before we drove out.

Beautiful home. Everything was lovely. We had one hiccup with wifi one night but despite messaging the owners well past midnight we still received a quick response and resolution. Would definitely stay here again. Beds were comfy. Everything was super clean. It worked perfectly for what we needed for our group.

The location is epic and the house is gorgeous. The view from the decks is pure magic and it is so nice and quiet. Loved the house and location.

We got married in CDA, we all stayed here together for three days and it was absolutely perfect. So much space, everyone was very comfortable, very well stocked and we just loved it. Already planning a trip back in the warmer months with friends and kids. It was amazing!

My Husband and I were in town for a weekend Gymnastics meet for our daughter. The house was perfectly setup. The windows overlooking the River and multiple fireplaces were my favorite part!

Nice base for a cross country ski weekend! Easy access to fourth of July pass ski trails, though there wasn’t much snow at the house itself. Was comfortable with 7 people and a few dogs. We wished there was a bit more of a comfortable living room space, but the log cabin room was interesting and flexible enough to hang out in.

The home is close to downtown. Very walkable (when there isn’t too much snow). Next to an awesome park for the kids. The home is well furnished. There is a bunk room and bathroom off the garage, since you have to go outside to access it, it’s better for older kids or maybe some in laws. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice house with plenty of space in the house and a very large fenced yard.

It is a beautiful home with high end materials and design. We had a minor issue with the entry door lock and they had someone come out in less than an hour of notification. The property managers are very responsive and easy to work with – very professional. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. Thanks

The house was amazing and worked very good for our family. The view overlooking Lake CDA was beautiful from the main room.

When I stepped off the driveway. I stepped into a pile of snow and tripped and fell Fort on the sidewalk and broke my thumb but if that pile of snow had not been located right off of the driveway. I probably wouldn’t have fallen

The Fernan Lake Lodge was a lovely home to have a family reunion in. It was very spacious with lots of areas to hang out in. The views from the lodge were magnificent (we were there during the winter, so experienced snow covered scenery)! The VRA team was very responsive when I reached out to them with questions I had prior to the start of our trip. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Great location, walkable to downtown, nice house.

We had a great time, the location is perfect and we walked into town several times. Loved the park across the street and the playground for our grandkids. The house is somewhat dated but we didn’t mind, the baseboard heaters are a bit loud but once we understood the sound it was ok.
