We loved our stay at Bay View Heights cabin. The cabin is located in a very peaceful area, and it was very clean with updated furnishings. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything one could need and then some. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were new and clean. We enjoyed the oversized spa, barbecue and fire pit. This cabin is very close to preserved forrest land for those who enjoy hiking.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect for a quiet getaway close to fun activities! If you plan on cooking be sure to bring your own spices. I was disappointed to find only salt and pepper. This is a higher end rental and I expected the kitchen to be better stocked. The pans are poor quality and we found several broken items when trying to cook. That being said, you can’t beat the grill on the patio! Dinner on the patio was the best! We saw eagles, osprey and deer! Most of the rooms have a beautiful view of Fernan lake, and the space was huge for our party of 6.

This is a home we did not want to say goodbye to! The home is beautiful and well stocked. The lay out was great and plenty of room for guests. The area is beautiful, and we would definitely stay here again and again!! Thank you VRA for great communication during our stay.

Excellent location on a quiet street high above Fernan Lake. Exceptional views of Fernan Lake and the surrounding area. Comfortable home setting for our annual family vacation. Extra fridge/freezer in the garage a plus. Could have used more paper products. Enjoyed carrying on a conversation with the wild turkeys in residence high up in the trees across the street.
The host VRA was always very responsive to any questions
The host VRA was always very responsive to any questions or issues and were able to remedy things very quickly. We loved having a dog door to access the yard! It was a great and open space, very large master and so much room for our family. We loved the location – my kids could play at the elementary school in the evening and was very close to a lot of things that we needed. We even saw deer occasionally and the neighbors were friendly and quiet.

Accurate description, comfortable mattresses, clean and modern fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen. Everyone was able to rest well while at the house and it’s only 10 minutes away from the beach walking! There’s a great sandwich/scone/pizza place called Corner Pocket Bakery that’s only 6 minutes away walking! There’s a burn ban from Memorial Day through October so didn’t get to use the fire pit but we made microwave s’mores instead. Great stay! Thank you!

Pros:Great location with amazing view . Waking up to a postcard view was surreal. Easy access to the lake to enjoy fishing , paddle boarding… We traveled with our dog so the fenced backyard and easy access for her potty needs was great . Cons: Lots of stairs , parking is a little uncomfortable. The house is clean but for some reason I kept finding hair from previous tennnats . Kids room where my son was sleeping pillow case had hair , my daughter was staying in the other bedroom and she complained about finding eyelashes on her pillow and in master bathroom there was hair stuck to the wall. Overall, the place was clean, except for the hair situation.So overall, we had positive experience and would stay again .

This was a perfect home for a family gathering. The beds were all really comfortable and the kids loved sleeping and playing in the loft. We spent lots of time on the deck around the large table and relaxing on the lounge chairs enjoying the gorgeous view. The activities like the hot tub, pool table, games etc. allowed everyone to do what they felt like. We shared meals done on the grill at the big dining room table and then played games there in the evening. The only thing we had to buy for our stay was the food. Everything else was provided. What more can I say? This was all we could have asked for.

Overall our stay here was very enjoyable. Some of the cleanliness could have been better. The dishes were dirty when we arrived and there was a pair of dirty underwear from a previous guest in one of the rooms. Also, the television in the living room has a dark spot on the screen making it difficult to watch from certain angles. The house is in a great location and there are lots of modern upgrades and touches that make it feel very comfortable to stay in. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Coeur d’Alene.
Absolutely awesome canoeing relaxing plenty of room to spread out
Stayed with my wife and 5 daughters and had a couple of our daughters’ cousins come stay with them a couple of the days and they all had a great time.Simple process, they were on top of everything.

We loved our stay in Fernan and the house was fantastic. Lots of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The kids loved the area downstairs and spent any free time enjoying each others company or playing games. The adults had several areas to relax and enjoy great conversations. A couple of the adults had some unexpected work come up and were able to find a quiet spot to get their work done. We did most of our cooking at the house and was able to find everything we needed to make the meals we prepared. The patio was nice for us to sit and enjoy the view and were visited by deer everyday. We all really enjoyed the house and being able to spend time all together.
