We were very pleased with Elk Country Lodge. It gave our family enough space to feel like we could all be together or have some quiet place to just unwind. Everyone commented on how nice the home was and they wanted to do another trip there next year so, very pleased with the stay.

Great stay, lots of room and very clean.

Perfect stay for our girls group of 7. The team was very responsive to our questions and prompt. Recommended to the team a little more details on working the digital lock and that you need to pull the door tightly closed for the deadbolt to lock. Stairs are narrow to the upstairs and a railing would help for small children and older people who need some assistance. Overall a wonderful stay with a well stocked kitchen and big refrigerator.

Good for a large group of people

Property was in a beautiful location- atop a hill overlooking Lake Couer d’Alene. Quick drive to get to downtown, and was easily accessible. The views of the lake from the living room were gorgeous, and we enjoyed watching the sunset each day. The only downside we experienced is that the thermostat when we arrived was set to 57°, and it was very chilly inside. It took some playing around with the controls to get the interior comfortable. In addition, even when the main floor reached the desired temperature, the basement bedroom remained quite cold throughout our stay. Overall, we’d recommend this property to anyone coming to the Coeur d’Alene area..

This home is magical. The feeling inside is like home. It’s large yet livable. The views are amazing. Everything was thought of. The kitchen has every imaginable appliance, spice and cookware. Our kids loved the hot tub, our friends and family were comfortable and everyone had the best time. Highly recommend this home. Such a wonderful experience.

Lovely home in a nice location. Upstairs is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated. We loved the kitchen, living room, deck and master bedroom. We enjoyed making meals and had plenty of space. The downstairs feels like a different house. It feels a bit like a basement, but it isn’t. Hard to explain. We had a few concerns about heat distribution, but it didn’t affect our enjoyment, we just added sweaters when downstairs. Overall we had a really nice stay and the Vacation rental company was great to work with.

The property was truly amazing! Beautiful house that was perfect for a large group. Fit 5 couples comfortably. We loved the hot tub, playing games at the massive table and how close of a walk to DT it was. Would stay again.

Positive: Clean home, fenced backyard Negative: The bathrooms needed more places to hang towels, toxic non-stick pans, the cookie sheet was ruined and should be replaced.

Beautiful home, lovely location. Kitchen was well equipped. Home decorated well, even had holiday touches. Wonderful accommodation for an extended family holiday, plenty of room to spread out, cool game room. Will definitely consider for another time.

Great space with lots of fun activities for kiddos. Walkable to downtown, we enjoyed it very much!

Our stay at the Hygge house was perfect. We had only 4 folks, but we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was perfect. We also enjoyed the basement with the electric fireplace, it was so cozy. We were within 2 blocks of a grocery store where the folks were so nice, just around the corner from a wine bar, a burger place with ice cream and only 10 blocks to downtown. We had a great time. We had one issue with a blown fuse and the owners were over to fix it in 5 minutes, it was amazing, thanks!

It was a great stay for my family and 2 dogs.

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the fenced courtyard area! Not enough seating for the dining room or the living room. We had 10 people and only 6 could sit in either area. Plenty of linens and in good condition. Loved the location.

Enjoyed having the open living room for our family murder mystery party. It was comfortable and cozy. Sleeping spaces were able to accommodate us and because the kitchen was so well stocked, we cooked all of our meals. Would love to stay there during the summer months!

Our stay at this home was incredible. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and were able to prepare and enjoy an entire thanksgiving feast with several people and kids. The home was so welcoming and comfortable. It made our vacation so relaxing. Perfect spot to get families together, thank you!!

Overall this was a phenomenal stay for our group of 12. The house was beautiful with lots of room for everyone. It was the perfect place to relax after spending our days at a conference during our stay. The only issues that we had were both resolved quickly. 1. We had a mixup with the door code that AirBnB provided vs the code that Vacation Rentals provided. Our group waited roughly 15 minutes to get the correct code for entry. Vacation Rentals had provided the proper code but we were using the info provided directly from the AirBnB site. AirBnB had listed the door code and alarm code backwards. The only other issue was that the sauna was not working when we went to use it the night of our arrival. We contacted Vacation Rentals and they amazingly sent out a technician to repair it while we were out at our conference. It was good to go when we returned that night. Between the sauna and the hot tub I think everyone got some much needed relaxation. We would definitely stay here again.

Great overall. Wonderful kitchen set up and beautiful views. We have stayed twice, both in January and it’s worth noting the hot tub has a very hard time getting to an adequate degree and never got over 100 while we were there. Maintenance maintained it was the cold weather that the hot tub had a hard time getting to between 102-104. Never heard of this issue before even in freezing temps but maybe that’s the case. We also stayed in more average temps for winter and it still didn’t get up to a normal temp for a hot tub. Only disappointing part of our stay.

Book it!!! We had the most magical stay, views are unbelievable! Eagles return there every winter. We saw 50 one day, and throughout our trip all over this area. Many right from the deck! You can see Mineral Ridge from the house, go hike it, absolutely magnificent. The home was spotless, spacious, and cozy. We had plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms, and loved the huge hot tub. Kitchen fabulous and functional! We saw two local deer many times throughout our stay. If you are staying in Idaho, this is the place you want to be.

Beautiful place. Close to downtown. Jacuzzi was awesome. View couldn’t be better of the lake.

Beautiful cabin with breathtaking views! You can spend an entire day in the cabin with plenty to do. They have a jacuzzi, pool table, and just hanging out in the back patio. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and got to see deer and a couple bald eagles flying in front of us! The only bummer was not being able to turn on the fireplace, but I have absolutely fell in love with this place! We locked ourselves out and the vacation company was super responsive and was there to help us within a half hour. If you are looking for tranquility and nature sightseeing, this is it!!

Such a beautiful place. Would highly recommend. Had everything you could need. We had 4 couples and there was plenty of room for privacy and gathering together as well. Nothing bad to say about the place.

Pristine home, packed with all the needed amenities Fantastic location, amazing views and very comfortable home overall. Liked the brand new (or so they all seemed) appliances, kitchen ware, and how clean all the space was. Would have enjoyed having a fireplace we could have used but I understand the liability. Awesome hot tub! Would definitely recommend to my friends
